Guarantee provided jointly with Africa Guarantee Fund. The PCG mitigates credit risk including the exposure to the state-owned PPA offtaker.
In addition to the credit risk, the guarantee helped banks to increase the tenor of the loan and encouraged banks to venture into new sectors.
